When I was young, I was surrounded by concrete floors. It was everywhere and anywhere. In the tropics, most people preferred concrete floors. Almost every house had a concrete floor. Back then, I did not appreciate the look of it. I think because the finishes I saw did not appeal to me. Until recently, I came across concrete floors again in pictures. Let me tell you that I drooled over the beautiful floors. Concrete floors never look so good. See it for yourself. I’m drooling over these five via Domino :
All white floor and wooden dinning chairs.
Dark concrete done well.
How lovely to see this in the kitchen, so functional.
I really love the look of this room, so serene.
Grey concrete finish with warm wood, so inviting.

Good Day Fancy Lacy Community!
My little girl attends pre-kindergarten full time now. Every morning, she starts her day with a list of questions. She tries the grown-up talk like “ what is the plan for today?” I’m amused by her curiosity. It makes my day. She sure knows how to set a tone for the day. Today, I wanted to show you how you can set a tone in your dining room. A piece of art can do this for your dining space. It can add a touch of luxe and create a big impact in your dining space. Get inspired.
Oversize art in the dining space is a show stopper. As seen in this picture. From Domaine.
If you are not into a large scale piece, consider a gallery wall in your dining space. I’m feeling this eclectic dining space. It is a mix of old and new. From Lonny.
Photographs are also great in dining space. The large-scale photo works very well in dining rooms. From Apartment Therapy.

Go for decorative art, avoid huge electronic appliances. Introduce a new color in your bedroom with an art. I love this look. It is calm, inviting, and chic. From House To Home.
Pretty neutral palette done right. Beautiful gallery wall with white frames, cute small table lamps, this place is quiet, relaxing and stylish. From Home Styling 101
This is a cheerful bedroom. Bright color on the wall, the art is full of beautiful bright hues. The same theme is carried on the pillows. This looks like a happy fun place. From Digs Digs
